This is a spiritual treasure hunt through the depth of the Jewish musical heritage. This journey takes place between Jerusalem, the ancient city of Safed and the snowy forests of Ukraine. We will meet artists, religious leaders and intellectuals in order to reveal the significance of the sacred melodies and its role in devotional rituals. As revealed in the film, Amir is a direct descendant of Rabbi Schneur Zalman, the founder of the Chabad Movement, the origin of the most sacred hymns in the Hassidic tradition.
